Location

Space at The Mill yoga studio in Manchester couldn’t have been any more perfect for a fine art shoot, full of light and simple white walls. I was ready to go into shavasana after the busy day of shooting.

Flowers

The inspiration behind this shoot was to curate a beautiful fine art imagery with a hint to a La Vie En Rose.

Inspiration

Key to Smokebush Floral ethos is using local, seasonal, British flowers wherever possible and carefully sourcing from elsewhere in the Winter months or when necessary. Reflecting their love of the English garden and taking their lead from the seasons, they choose the finest flowers and foliage from their own cutting garden and an increasing network of superb local growers. Sourcing the highest quality ingredients is at the heart of what they do. It enables them to design wild, romantic, natural arrangements that enjoy all the colour, scent and texture the flower fields have to offer.

This table was inspired by the French countryside, an escape to a farmhouse with lots of different textures and small pots of homegrown flowers. We wanted to keep it simple yet elegant with a muted colour palette and lots of candlelight to bring warmth.

Cake

Marie Antoinette Cake Design specialises in creating modern and bespoke wedding cakes. Perfect for people with the highest of expectations throughout UK. From her cake studio in Heaton Moor, Cheshire, Rachel designs and makes each and every wedding cake from scratch with a passion for sugarcraft and design. She takes inspiration from a wide range of sources including fashion, architecture, interior design, floristry and nature. Rachel works closely with each client, drawing from this wide range of inspiration, to design the perfect bespoke wedding cake. She has steadily built an excellent reputation for her elegant modern designs and luxurious flavours.
